This is my new favorite lesbian movie of all time. I know it's hard to say, but I really like it!

It's hard for me to talk about this movie without spoiling the plot.

Let me just say that this story is told by Alice, who looks back on her interracial lesbian love story with Vera (played by Gugu Mbatha-Raw, you might know her from the lesbian episode of Black Mirror?).

The film tells in three time frames: one that she is old and writing a book, the second that she is a young woman and lives by the sea, and the third that she is a student and together with Vera.

The period when she lives alone by the sea is the main timeline.

Alice hates children, but then she is assigned to look after a child from London. However, this child will change her life.

Sunland is so important because it tells an interracial lesbian love story that has never been seen before.

We highly recommend this lesbian movie!
