Today there is more than one option for the emergence of such a lexicon in Rus'. According to the first of them, the swear lexical set was brought by the Tatar-Mongols during the seizure of Russian lands.

During the excavations, they found pages that even before the arrival of the invaders contained swear words. Another option dates back to the period of paganism.
To facilitate childbirth, ancestors used conspiracies in which they used similar expressions. And the sorcerers inserted them into their curses. The adoption of Christianity entailed a change in the value system. All symbolism associated with the genitals, as well as sexual intercourse, was banned.
Where does Russian swearing come from?
A few words about where these words come from and what their original purpose was. Of course, we are talking about time immemorial, definitely pre-Christian, when there was a cult of NATURE, when faith in life-giving creative forces was strong, when wise knowledge about the interaction of everything with everything had not yet been forgotten, when there was a reverent attitude towards the Family and its egregor was strong so much so that he kept people under reliable protection.
In those days, swearing was a challenge to male generic power - potency. Special words that were quite “keys” that unlocked a serious energy flow of a certain direction.
Scientific experiments with profanity
Back in Soviet times, scientists became interested in how words affect living organisms. Since childhood, we have known a lot of folk proverbs and sayings on this subject. For example, “a kind word is pleasant for a cat” or “a word is not hard, but people die from it.” This should teach us to be careful about what comes out of our mouths. However, most people take their speech extremely frivolously. And, according to scientists, it is in vain.
Research institutes in our country have been testing the hypothesis for several years about how strongly a word can affect the psychophysical state of a living organism. The experiments were carried out on seeds intended for planting. Three experimental groups were created. The first was exposed to the most selective swearing for several hours a day, the second “listened” to the usual swearing, and the third was told only words of gratitude and prayers. To the surprise of scientists, the seeds on which the mat fell showed a germination rate of only forty-nine percent. In the second group, the numbers were higher - fifty-three percent. But the seeds from the third group sprouted by ninety-six percent!
It is not for nothing that our ancestors knew that in no case should one approach cooking food and planting crops with foul language. In this case, you should not even expect a good result. But how exactly does swearing work? This process was revealed to the fullest by the Russian geneticist Pyotr Goryaev.
Why you can’t swear or the power of Russian swearing
At the same time, everyone knew by default how powerful these words were and how extremely carefully this power should be handled. Swear words were used only in extreme situations and were equated to what is called “the last bullet.”
When, on a long hike, someone literally fell exhausted, and leaving him with the others meant his inevitable death, he was literally cursed.
The state of shock that was experienced at the same time was like an electrical discharge in intensive care, some exorbitant reserves in the body were turned on, and the person, in a completely incredible way, got to a safe place in formation.

After many years of research that he conducted in Russian and foreign scientific institutes, it was proven that our DNA chain can be represented as a meaningful text consisting of words grouped with a special meaning. The scientist himself called this phenomenon “the speech of the Creator.” Thus, Goryaev confirmed that with our speech we can both heal ourselves and destroy ourselves. He claims that thought forms, and especially spoken words, are perceived by the genetic apparatus through special electromagnetic channels. Therefore, they can heal and support us, and in other cases literally explode DNA, causing certain disorders and mutations. And checkmate is the most destructive force that exists. I can't stop swearing
Now let's talk about something else. With all this, it is curious that many Orthodox elders, it turns out, for many years could not get rid of the habit of swearing. This is written about more than once in the lives of the saints.
That is, despite prayers to God, he did not free them from this litigation. And now even decent, good people swear and cannot get rid of this habit, as if it “flies out on its own.” The more interesting is the reason that gives rise to such a phenomenon.
In Russian culture, healthy sexuality is taboo. The reason for this is that in our worldview, in our culture, spirituality and “goodness” are equated.
In other words, a spiritual good person in general shouldn’t even multiply, shouldn’t come into contact with “all this”, should only be in high vibrations. This literally means denial of the lower chakras. And what is denied will certainly appear and, at the same time, not in the most decent form, in order to attract attention to itself, first of all.
Many generations have grown up in the denial of sexuality as such, in a situation where the very concept of intimate relationships between a man and a woman has been destroyed, suppressed, hidden in every way, and even smeared into vulgarity, and these relationships, in their original essence, are sacred. Children were taught from childhood that everything that is “out there” is shameful, cannot be shown, cannot be touched, and is generally a disgrace.
Children are born with a healthy relationship with their genitals and give them the same importance and attention as an arm, leg or ear. It’s just that when a child picks at his ear, it doesn’t attract anyone, but when he starts picking at the causal area, obscurantism begins.
As a result, a healthy perception of reality is broken and mental trauma is introduced. The transfer of the distorted “experience” has been accomplished. There is no point in condemning, there was a reason for everything. The pain from a mental trauma received at one time gives rise to the desire to protect another from it, and as much as possible, as understood, is done.
Meanwhile, literally everything in a person’s life depends on the acceptance and understanding of this inherently wonderful power. The essence of sexual energy absolutely does not fit into the framework and generally accepted understanding of it; this is only an insignificant part of it.
In fact, literally everything in our lives depends on the acceptance of this wonderful life-giving energy - from strength and beauty, confidence and health to building harmonious relationships with any people (not necessarily a partner), revealing creativity and active good creation. All this is realized precisely through the work of the second chakra, and now it is clear why refusal to perceive everything that is “below the navel” promises considerable problems in life.
People swear to be higher in the social hierarchy
Let's assume that there is a conditional class where children do not swear. Well, let’s say that such a class exists.
A new student enters the class. He notices that none of the children around use mats. And he starts swearing. Not in front of the teachers, of course, but during recess or when everyone is going home after school. In general, he finds time for this.
For what? To assert yourself. Swearing in our “proper” class is something forbidden. And the new kid wants to show the children around him: “Look, you can’t, but I can!” I’m not afraid of anything, I’m cooler than all of you!”

A child or teenagers is swearing, what should I do?
Many teenagers or even pre-teens swear loudly and joyfully. Yes, there is part of the reason that this exists freely in society; unfortunately, they have where and from whom to take such an “example” and tra-la-la.
But the puberty phase will pass and there will simply be no reason left for everyone to speak this language. Unless, of course, there is persecution on this topic, ardent rejection and suppressed sexuality as a consequence, but we have already talked about this above.
